On foot and local bus or train

Visit Vevey, the old Roman town of Vibiscum, with the biggest market place in Europe and home to Charlie Chaplin, Swiss chocolate and Nestlé, during a private tour.
We will take a local electric bus (15 min) or train ride (6 min) from Montreux along the lake side to discover this pretty, cultural town, the cobbled pedestrian streets and the lakeside promenade.
Vevey is host to the famous Wine Grower's Festival, which only takes place every 20 to 25 years, and has a colourful local market on Tuesday and Saturday.
We will return again to Montreux by bus or train.

ITINERARY

We will meet at your hotel, and depending on its location, catch the train or bus along to the neighbouring old Roman town of Vevey, where we will stroll along the cobbled pedestrian Streets in the old town before visiting the Charlie Chaplin statue and the beautiful lakeside promenade ajoining the largest market place in Europe. The return to Montreux will be by local bus or train, free of charge with your Montreux Riviera guest card.
